I had some business dealings with him back in the late 90s when he owned some Churches Fried chicken franchises. He was very polite and a pleasure to work during our business interactions.

During that time I played with some big dudes on a men’s B class softball league and a traveling tournament team with pretty much everyone being able to jack 320+ foot homers with ease. So the one thing I noticed about him is he had really thick wrists and muscular forearms which to me was indicative how his genetic build made for a powerful swing. I’m fairly muscular 6’2”/ 210 lbs and his wrists were at least 50% larger than mine.

RIP Hammerin’ Hank!

RIP Mr. Aaron.   Thanks for the memories.

Yup........no doubt about it really.

Next is Babe Ruth.

Sad because "Basketball Head" would have possibly been somewhat a contender without the steroids but..........he fucked up bad.

Exactly.  Not sympathetic to our side.  The commies never fail to highlight our perceived negatives, and we turn belly up.

We didn't have a den but I watched it on the B&W also. Saw Hammering Hank punch a homer vs. San Diego at the Fulton County stadium a couple of years before he reached 715, Chief Knockahoma celebrated in grand fashion. That was the first MLB game I attended, I miss the pre PC baseball.

Every time I see Lifebuoy soap, I think of Hank and his advertisements.
He made some sort of advertising deal with that company after he set his homerun record.

Rest in Piss

He wasn’t popular with some around Mobile.  At times seemed to be a bitter old man.  That said, hopefully he’s in a better place now.

2nd- What the fuck does "all the rest" mean? Rest of athletes? You need to go outside for a few minutes a day. Jesus fuking Christ
