MP-5 or good clone ( semi- auto since FA will be $$$$$).  However, even for a Semi auto  it's still north of $1600 presently.  10-15 years ago it would be $2000 and up for a working one.

When HK USC-45 came out I got pretty excited, bought one at $1400.  Then realized it would take only 10 rds mag and plastic body really killed it for me.  Ended up trading it for good old Hungarian SA85 under folder, without putting a single round through.....

I couldn't really justify spending that kind of money for 9mm carbine semi-auto....

UPDATE:  a local store has PTR9r for $1100, just went for it!  That’s probably the cheapest I have ever seen for a brand new MP5 ( clone / carbine).

Yeah I wouldn't mind one of those.  Unfortunately they are rarely cheap and rarely used, around here.

Just do it!  Get that MP-5.  As I posted earlier in this thread, I sold my Python and bought the PTR 9C.  It is one fantastic shooting gun.  It’s not about the caliber, but about the fun it provides.

Berreta ARX 100. The thing is I already have enough 5.56 rifles.

HK MR556 Same thing as above, plus way overpriced and my safe is already stuffed with AR's.

Sig P320. Im think Im going to wait a few more years for them to work out the bugs on this one.

Desert Tech MDR bullpup. Great concept has a lot of potential. Im really interested in the .308 version, but they still have some bugs to work out.

Glock 43.  Maybe in the next year or two.

I'll watch a movie or read a book and want one again.

Then I pick one up at a shop and think, nope, I'm not buying this piece of shit.
