Not exactly a brewing question.
I have my eye on one of these growlers. I like the idea of the tap and the Co2 charger. Right now I only have glass 64 oz. growlers. No way to keep the beer stable with those. Is this growlerwerks brand decent? My use is getting it filled at a local brewery and drinking it at home, etc. do the Co2 cartridges last awhile? I’m hoping someone has experience with these. Yes these are awesome, I have a 64oz and have filled it with numerous BA stouts!

It arrived this afternoon. Very nice! I had to get the drip mat too LOL.
  ETA: bought it through Costco for $139.99 shipped with the 10 pk. of chargers. Couldn’t find a lower price. |

I'm a big fan of Epic, Wasatch and Squatters (since I can get those down here). Big Bad Baptist is probably in my top 10, since it's usually on draft at the local pub. Kind of a shame that Monster Energy bought the beer collective that Wasatch and Squatters were part of. We'll have to see what happens with their beer. The quality of beer for many of the TX breweries that got bought up by big corporate declined not long after the buy out. So I'm somewhat pessimistic. Hoping I'm wrong, cause I can really enjoy a Hop Rising or Devastator. |

My wife “won” a growlerwerks through a work raffle.
For free it’s been really nice. Getting it filled is the only issue, they insist on running it through their washer, and are afraid to kill it. So we fill a glass one and transfer it to the good one. |

I've used mine at tons of microbreweries. They will wash it -as they should- but it's usually simple quick and easy. These days I use it to force carbonate my home brews.
