The 48MOS factory front (plastic) sight is noticeably taller than standard Glock front sights. plastic sights are placeholders IMO.

I’m looking at Ameriglo Defoor which I think have a .158” front.

Ameriglo Hackathorns. Big bright dot up front, plain dark steel U-shaped notch in back. Target acquisition is so fast I'm no longer interested in a red dot, as it accomplishes nearly the same thing without relying on technology.

All black defoor sights. I like his sights and prefer blacked out, bonus, they were only about $40

Dawson Precision

They're a little spendy, but you can't go wrong with Dawson.

I just put a set of Hackathorn Ameriglo on my wife’s. They were about $55 on Amazon.

More importantly, where did you find a G48 MOS in stock?

My preferred is Trijicon HD with Orange dot.  But from the many responses here, it's really just "buy & try" to find what works best for you.

If you are like me and don't like to settle for guns that are always a little high or a little low, dawson precision is the way to go.

If your first front sight doesn't put the bullet exactly where you want it, they will send you the right one to do it

my 48 is not MOS.  I use the white box Glock rear sight with an Ameriglo CAP front sight.

I currently have Ameriglo T-Caps for a g19 on there. POI is a little high, so I will likely switch it out to dawsons and get it dialed in.

My 48 came with Ameriglo Bold sights with the orange front. Love it.

My 43x had standard glock sights, but I replaced them with Ameriglo Bold green. The green is not as good as the orange.

Sorry for the crappy android pics.

ETS:  It's the MOS sight that is suppose to work wiyj suppressors and red dots.  There is a specific front rear combo he recommends for Glock 48s.  I run a plain black rear and brass bead front sight on my 48.

Anyone know if the Steyr type triangle sights will work on the 48?

I have a set on my 17 and 19.

Would the same sights fit the 43 and 48?

Eventually I will. But I’ll have sights on it that can be used if the RDS malfunctions

I got my G48 milled for a Sig Zero. Can’t remember which Ameriglo’s I went with...love them though.

Both.  it's an MOS but had to be milled to accept the RMRcc.

^ Those ameriglos look nice. If they were tall enough I think I would get those.

I went with the 10-8 sights that are supposed to be a really low cowitness with my milled slide and an rmrcc.

I settled on the Ameriglo Defoor sights.  They are inexpensive and don’t overhang the rear of the slide. They do shoot 1” low at 25-Yards for me though with 124Gn ammo
