Yup, it is in the same spot as glocks. It is molded into the frame. Eta: this is for the polymer 80. Looks like these might not be from the same company? View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes |

The compact ? Edit: Never mind. I ordered one. |

My guess is that by this time next year, we'll hear something about a PF1045 kit being added to their product line.

Since they changed the triggerguard, will a TLR-6 still fit? Reshaping it on the P80 frames didn't matter because they have a rail, but this could be a deal-breaker for a G43-ish frame (for some people).

Glockstore also sells stripped 43 frames for $75, completion kit for $80. Or you can get a complete 43 frame from them for $250.

The article is speculating a price of ~$400 just for the slide, and you're still on your own for a barrel and fire control parts. There's simply no good reason for that, when Numrich is full of new $75 1911 slides and barrels. When I can build an 80% Glock for Kel-Tec prices, I'll be in. Until then, being paper-free isn't worth paying that much of a premium. View Quote Big part of that is how long they have been on the market. Manufacturer has to make back their initial tooling costs, so prices drop after the tooling is paid for and competition increases. |

It does look a lot like a P80 frame, which is why I asked P80 if it was theirs. They had no idea it even existed. View Quote |

Looks like the SS80 (80% G43 kit) is made by the Glock Store.

What is the point to these 80% handguns? I don't get it View Quote ------------------------------------------------------ Fuck me. (I know this isn't GD but I gotta vent) If you have no desire to build one, then don't. This petty bullshit is why the antis keep winning at the state level. Fucking sectoring yourselves into tiny identity groups, easily defeatable one by one. How about embracing the fact the people enjoy exercising their rights to firearms ownership for a variety of reasons. Different people are enthusiastic about different areas of interest. How about, "cool pistol" and leave it at that. Or I'd even accept, "Why are you interested in building one?" When you say something to the effect of, "I don't see the reason or need.", or "That's too much money.", you're placing a judgement of the builder's motivations, passively aggressively calling them stupid or wasteful. Fuck you, it's not your money, not your time, not your pistol. Go fudd somewhere else. |

WHY !!!! 80% large frame would be a hot seller instead of this small frame !!! My 21 upper is so lonely

Good deal! Personally, this might get me off the 80% fence.
Now, would someone please come out with a .22 top end for a G43? I'd like a trainer for the kiddos, and it should be fairly comparable in size to the M&P .22 Compact. |

I mean I love the 80% idea but cant i just buy a brand new one for basically the same price it would cost to built it? “But it’s more rewarding to build it!” So $110 for the frame kit, around $50 for the 'lower parts kit' around $70 for the 'slide parts kit' $100 for a barrel (I missed the sale ) That's $330, and I still need a 'stripped' slide (around $170) and sights. The SS80 (G43 size) kit from Glock Store would be more expensive to build, because it doesn't (yet) have the aftermarket parts support that the Glock 17 and Glock 19 have. That's also going to be a bit of a problem for the PF940SC (G26 size) kit that Polymer80 is supposed to be officially announcing at SHOT. |

That would probably put liability/warranty on Glock Store, allowing Glock Store to get them at a lower unit price by assuming the liability for them. View Quote |

You can put a serial number on it. doesn't mean it means anything other than a number you made up.

Makes more sense to buy the glock you want and buy a frame as a "back up".
