Heres my situation, I currently have a good career and no desire to go to college. Does anyone know of any NON school courses i can do to use up the GI BILL? Specifically shooting/ firearms courses?

I wonder how relevant this would be over going to a community college vocational trade of machinist. I've entertained the idea of becoming a machinist for custom barrel/rifle builds. Machining is what I think is the heart of modern gunsmithing. Not some generic gunsmithing class about bedding and 10/22 springs. LOL

When I was taking machining classes at my local community college, Kimber reps/recruiters came to one of our classes looking for machinists that were near completion of the program. Machining is a great trade especially if you can run a lathe and Bridgeport the old school way without any of the fancy electronics attached. There were kids in my classes who couldn’t read a tape measure or a ruler yet alone an analog dial that didn’t have digital readouts.

that is what i think of as well. This course is literally worthless IMHO. A couple useful bits of knowledge but overall it is very lacking in actual gunsmithing. I cannot imagine paying out of pocket for this.
