How can you get a bogus arrest expunged from your record.
They basically dropped or "no more information" my case and I would like to get the arrest off of record.
Anyone know the process?
Reading on how to do it and have talked to PG & SA...neither real helpful.
Post here or e-mail me please

What state / jurisdiction?  Every one has a different process.

And, you can likely get a free consultation with a local lawyer in the jurisdiction you're in who will tell you what the process is and what it would cost for him/her to assist. I know people who have gone through the process on their own here and it can be done, but for a few hundred dollars, you can almost "fire and forget" with a decent attorney.

I don't know what you mean about talking to the PG/SA. but am assuming (dangerous) that they might be public servants and unfortunately, they aren't likely to really care about helping with this.

Most bar associations have a lawyer referral service on their website where you click some boxes to indicate what kind of help you need and then you are provided with a list of lawyers that handle the type of case you have.  Most of these lawyers offer a free 1 hour consultation where they review your case and give advise on how you might want to proceed.  We used the service some years ago when we were rear ended while sitting at a red light by a guy who claimed he didn't see our Ford Explorer.  The guy's insurance wanted to us to claim our injuries on our healthcare policy so all they would have to cover was the damage to the Explorer.  The lawyer told us what to do and what to say to the guy's insurance adjuster to get a really nice settlement.

Thanks guys....
Got a good portion of this done today , including the actual
court minutes\transcript where at the end the Judge looks at
his assistant and State's Attorney and clearly says..."there's no case here"
They really try to make the legal system work against you,me "the common Joe"
Police are owned by Scientologists and bend to their $.
No offense to any LE's here....but I have no love lost for any of them.
The whole system is corrupt and the most important factor with LE is
filling their quota...Oh did I say that.
Thanks gents and God Bless
Good to be home though...LOL

Sorry about your expirience OP. No quota here though. I get paid the same whether someone goes to jail/gets a ticket or not. People put themselves into situations.. Something I cannot control.

It is actually a major PITA.

The place it tends to stay is the 'Precinct Record Book.'  AKA the arrest book.

Many police departments are VERY reluctant to 'remove' entries in a secure manner.
