People like to clown him for Al Capone's vault but....
99% of presenters would have opened the vault ahead of time to see if there was anything interesting in there before deciding whether to do the TV special or would have planted some items inside to guarantee the reveal would have at least some payoff. But not Geraldo. When he told us he was opening the vault for the first time that was the honest truth. Sure it was a let down all they found was dirt but at least it was authentic. |
