Hello all, I'm doing some research on a handful of WWII pilots who received various awards and am trying to figure out where to search for the GO which would potentially describe what the award was for. They don't seem to appear searching NARA, and I'm not seeing them with http://airforcehistoryindex.org/ (or I don't realize I'm seeing them)
There are several dates and orders I'm looking for, but here are three as an example: GO #10 HQ. XII (12th) Air Support Command January 31, 1944 (Air Medal/Oak Leak Clusters) GO #64 HQ. 12th Air Force May 22, 1944 (pertaining to Distinguished Flying Cross) GO #301 HQ 2nd Bombardment Div Nov 14, 1944 (Air Medal/Oak Leak Clusters) Thank you for any direction you can give! |
