Suppressor looks like a Delta P.

6.8 130 gr. bullet @ 3200 FPS?

In.

ETA - Looks like full ambi controls/CH and probably ambi eject.

Really?  Exactly, with what frequency do non-bull pup rifles kaboom outside of shitty reloads?  1:100,000?  1:1,000,000?  Less?

Absolutely nothing in 99.99% of cases, as with any other half-ass decently built firearm.

Sooooo they were tasked with making a SAW, and they made a bullpup assault/or battle rifle???

I mean, it looks kinda cool, except the front of the handguard should be angle the other way. It looks doofy being long on top.  Never the less, you can't do SAW shit with 30 round magazines.  If you can, then that means every assault rifle is a SAW.  But that is apparently the case since the #IAR.  I've read countless threads on it and still find the concept retarded.

If it's 3-D printed I can imagine an internal structure that rivals the performance of traditional profile supressors, considering the R&D and modeling capability of GD.

I don't know what to think now. Seems like there might be a lot of momentum to replace the M4. Fuckers might actually pull it off.

Typical luddite mouthbreathers here got to shit on any sign of innovation.

Looks to be a highly efficient design.  Distance from stock to mag is very short.

Monolithic upper is a good design feature.  Looks to be extruded Al, which will make it inexpensive, light, rigid, and an accurate platform for optics, sights, and lasers.

Delta P type can is awesome.  3D printed Ti is light, provides a lot of volume for effective suppression, and adds minimal OAL.

Tell us about these inexpensive rifles with extruded uppers. SCAR 16? $2,700. ACR? $1,500. XCR? $1,900. Maybe the HK 433.....................

So the contract will be awarded to either Sig or Textron. No way is the military replacing their M4s with a Bullpup rifle

Your knowledge of manufacturing is based on ????

Many other things contribute to the total cost of a product.  One of them being if the company decides to price it accordingly.

Bullpups are not innovative. They've been around for almost a century.

The Delta P type can is the only real innovation here.

Monolithic uppers are a good idea. New Zealand got it right with the LMT NZ-16.

SAW and M4.

Presumably, we are looking at the M4 part of the equation.

Bullpups make a fuckton of sense on paper.  We just need one to make a fuckton of sense when you hold the goddamn thing.

The some thing was said about the space age mattel rifle we all love so well.

So General Dynamics just said fuck it and contracted Kel Tec to make a design for them. Solid strategy.
