I've never understood how it was legal to 'borrow' a stock from someone (without their knowledge) and sell it, hoping then subsequently to buy it back in the future at a lower price and give it back to the original owner - still with the original owner none the wiser. Well I guess the actual stock is never taken from the original owner anyway just the fact that it exists.
And what was it that hedge fund did anyway, they borrowed and sold more than 100% of the stock that was out there anyway. Shorting a stock (selling a stock that you don't own) should be illegal anyway. |

Mark my words. This will be blamed on T$ and Russian collusion and the poor sap that is currently sitting in a goldmine will have it clawed back due to "market manipulation" once they redefine market manipulation. You know, to ensure market confidence and a "level playing field".

Between GME, AMC, and EXPR I was up $12,000 in the first 30 minutes of trading today. The constant circuit breakers and halts for no reason killed all momentum. EXPR was at $13 and on its was to pass AMC, but several trading halts killed it |

Ya there seems to be some fuckery going on for sure. Idk maybe im retarted but from what im putting together the other hedge fund citadel who bailed melvin out for 2b is associated with citadel securities who is their prime broker. So if they didn't bail them out they would be on the hook for the losses. However that 2b didn't do shit and the stock has kept going up. So now they are so far in the hole, the bank is stalling hoping the stock will go back down so they don't have to cover the losses. However when the options start to expire on friday they might have no choice and that when this thing has the potential to go to the moon.
Another thing that is interesting is that citadel is also robinhoods prime broke and robinhood makes their money by allowing them to front run the trades. |

I bought deep on various stocks that had a down day today, got 10-20% discounts on tickers I've been in, and others I've been looking for an entrance into.
Maybe not as glamorous as possible 100% daily gains, but if you're right, I'd be safe from scrutiny getting $ZOM $ATOS $CCIV $BFT etc at 15% off. I have the added bonus of knowing my risk factor on the above is very acceptable to me. GME might go to the moon, but except for the squeeze, there's not a damn thing justifying its price, lots of risk wrapped up in it. |

My son has been pretty involved in this since the start. It is of course about making a buck but it is also about showing how the big boys are allowed to manipulate the market and calling them out on it. He is also convinced that reprisals will be coming from SEC, IRS etc. The big boys spent a lot of money getting FJB in office so phone calls will be made to address it.
