I have 3 dogs.  9yr old hound/rott fixed female, a complete male Mal 2-1/2 yrs old and a 3-1/2 yr old complete GSD female.  She is small, 65 lbs and normally has a longer full coat and under coat.  Recently she seems to be scratching some and her longer hair has fallen out.  she looks like a short haired dog.  They have the run of 45 acres but we kennel at night.  Any thoughts would be appreciated.
