When I win the lottery, I’m gonna find a first gen Bronco and take it to one of those places that rebuilds them from the ground up using modern electronics/drivetrain. I had a ‘94 for about 15 years until a divorce forced me to sell it. Looking back, I really didn’t have to sell it as I bounced back from the divorce in record time. I’m still on the hunt for another, but all generations command absurd prices, even for rough examples. |

we watched a Tulsa dealership do the same damn thing with their display model Ram pickup a housing contractor was stalking the railyard saying he had come to get his first-in-Tulsa Dodge Ram, "the one that looks like a Peterbilt" and our railyard chief of police telling him he'd be shot if he tried to climb the fence again to get it "Here Toygo" if you know anything about the Tulsa Cherokee Railroad Police, you'll get the joke |

Here is the article https://drivetribe.com/p/this-lady-bought-the-first-ever-VfRp6nU0SPeNLa-ZbbyzgQ THIS LADY BOUGHT THE FIRST EVER SOLD MUSTANG AND STILL OWNS IT She was looking for a convertible and found her dream car. Gail Wise was 22 years old when the first ever Ford Mustang should be revealed at the World's Fair in New York on the 17th April in 1964. She had no idea about this, but was a newly employed third-grade teacher and needed a car. In the showroom of Johnson Ford in Chicago, where Gail went to buy a car, was nothing on display she liked. Gail wanted a convertible. But the salesman asked her to follow him in the back room where two Mustangs were waiting for their big reveal. One of the Mustangs was a skylight-blue convertible and Gail immediately knew, that this car was for her. IT WAS THE 15TH APRIL 1964, TWO DAYS BEFORE THE MUSTANG WAS REVEALED TO THE PUBLIC |

Accident my ass .
There are just too many checks and balances in a dealership for it to have been an accident . Dealer ain't gonna let that sort of stuff happen . That's why they have half a dozen employees between the salesperson and the door . And if it did happen , everyone in the chain of events will be on the hook for the money . gd |

My FIL was a fleet mgr and thus bought about 15 F150's a year from one dealer. The dealer knew his daughter, my future wife, was turning 16 and offered him a new prototype car, not yet released, it was the new Probe. It was not prepped to be driven as it was trailered from dealer to dealer.
My FIL, said he wanted it, tonight. They prepped it and sold it, it turned into a shit show even getting it registered.. |
