I usually carry a P220 Carry concealed IWB, in a horsehide Super Tuck mostly under shorts and a tee shirt, but I'd like to know what you guys who carry OWB concealed are using.
Thanks. |

either custom leather from warbird leather or cheap kydex if i think it might rain. Nobody notices or super cares about printing.

I don't worry about being concealed. I have my pocket LCP for that.
M&P Shield is visible or mostly covered by a jacket this time of year. |
|
|
Galco COPS3 with Galco COPS double mag holder at 4 and 7 o'clock.
Very good holster but the black dye sticks to my Glock and it is a pain to remove. |

|
L.A.G. Tactical Defender, G19 or 1911 depending on what I feel like.
Holsters come with both IWB and OWB hardware. |
|
DSG Arms makes a good OWB holster for my P320C. In fall and winter it’s M&P with a RCS Phantom
|
|
XDM 3.8 Compact 45 in a High Noon Topless holster. I really like their stuff.

I still rock a P228 in a Bianchi #5 Black Widow like it's the 1990's.
T-shirt works fine, but I prefer a tucked shirt and outer garment. Attached File |

I appreciate the replies and I going to investigate each and every one of them.
Thanks |

Other than my LCP in a front pocket, I only carry OWB and use several different gun/holster combinations. Today it was a Shield 45 in a snap removable pancake holster from TT Gunleather.

I'm not as high speed as the Tier 1 guys. I usually use the hated, inexpensive and functional FOBUS holster for my Glocks.

Infrequently a Smith and Wesson Model 10 in a Milt Sparks holster.
Also infrequently a Sig M11A1 in a kydex holster, dont remember the brand. Mainly pocket carry a P3AT. |

Raven Concealment... but I didn’t have many choices https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/82036/0AAF4786-5085-4760-8A04-FF7D1A0B956B-378934.jpg View Quote |

I find that a compact pistol (G19 size) in any decent high ride OWB concealment holster such as from Raven or Bravo Concealment work well, as do the leather pancake type holsters. I sometimes carry a Glock 22 in a Safariland leather pancake with thumb break and even that conceals decently when I wear an un-tucked button-up shirt over it. You can actually carry surprisingly large pistols OWB and get decent concealment if you learn to dress around the platform. For me, I'd much rather look a bit like a slob with my un-tucked, over-sized shirts and be able to carry in comfort, as opposed to being in misery all day trying to carry something IWB.

Galco Avenger with the EMP
Uncle Mikes Super Slide with the S&W M&P 9 Sheild Blackhawk Serpa everything else. |
|
Aliengear cloakmod owb. I have to wear a pretty big overshirt to hide it but it is so much more comfortable than iwb that its worth it.

I carry a full size 1911 everyday. For IWB, I use a Kramer #3 and for OWB use a Raven LAV model.
|
|
I have a couple of OWB holsters that I use. One is a Blade Tech Eclipse and the other is a StealthGear Flex. Both are super comfortable and make for a fast draw as opposed to the StealthGear Mini IWB holster that I use for ultimate concealment at the 5 O'Clock position. All of my EDC handguns are all steel full size pistols. Don't see any point in carrying an inferior caliber, midget, back up gun as my primary weapon.

Because of Military injuries I cannot have pressure on my hips so I am using ankle carry. I have a Sig P90 on right side ankle and a DB9 on the left side. I walk with a cane as I await the second part of a total hip replacement. I do find that while sitting especially driving my gun is very near to me.

My dad is fat and believes fervently that fat people can't carry iwb for some reason. He uses Galco. He is also refuses to put weapon lights on carry pistols.

Sparks 55BN - Commander length 1911
BlackPoint Tactical Leather Wing - P226/P220 |

I wear a galco owb holster for my 1911. If I want to conceal I will wear something over it, open shirt , shoot me first /photographer vest, or a jacket.
No one has ever said anything about the vest. I would like to find a leather photographer vest though. |
|
I have no clue. I do know I carry a Glock 19, and have for about 20 years, but the holster? It works, it lasted, it's comfortable. I just don't know the brand.
