Sable Marie Mongold is a dancer who works in the French Quarter. She told the New Orleans City Council that cracking down on strip clubs to get at sex traffickers is barking up the wrong tree.
"I believe when we exaggerate these claims in the media, we are diminishing the experiences of people who are actually being trafficked in hotel rooms, on the Internet, in so-called 'health spas,' et cetera, and we take away their voice," she said. |

I suspect alot of the people pushing for gun control do so because they think their own violent tendencies are the norm rather than the exception.
