My nephew wants to buy my 1996? 50 anniversary strat.it's made in japan, almost new condition,never seriously played. Think it's a st-57.with a skb case, what's a fair value without seeing it?. I have the original pick guard but changed to black because I liked the look.. it's the sunburst brownish, skunk stripe on neck.he offered me 700.00 . To low?

Im no expert by any stretch but looking at Reverb the MIJ strats 40th Anniv. are around $900-$1200.

if $900-$1k is what Reverb says is the trend then $700 is a fair family deal. It's prob a $1200 guitar with lack of availability of new stock these days.
