Most of these these are currently H1B workers that require a US sponsor. After their status is "upgraded", they'll be able to take any job in the USA.
Trump's deputies at the Departments of State and Homeland Security are offering a huge giveaway to at least 400,000 foreign visa workers and their Fortune 500 employers just before the November election. - 120,000 additional Green Cards (citizenship) will be given to H1B's. These were originally allocated to family migrants, but were blocked by coronavirus shutdown in 2020. This is in addition to the 140,000 the USA gives to H1B's every year. - 300,000 Employment Authorization Documents ("green card lite") also will be given to these alien workers. "The people who are getting screwed are likely Trump voters," said Jessica Vaughan, policy director at the Center for Immigration Studies. "This policy is sticking a knife in the back of [college graduate] people who would be his supporters." https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2020/09/25/agency-officials-100000s-indian-chinese-white-collar-visa-workers/ |

Fuck that.
If you need foreign workers move your entire company to the turd world. |

More proof that neither political party cares about American workers.
It's past time to dramatically reduce the numbers or eliminate the program all together. Incrementally reduce the numbers by 15% or so a year until we are down to about 20% or so of today's level and re-examine at that time. This would avoid any shock to the system and give companies time to train "tech" workers if they can not find them in the US. |

This is why we need to do away with lobbyists and special interest groups, we elect our officials to act in our best interest and the countries best interest and the lobbyists and special interest groups pay them do do the opposite to the tune of billions of dollars.
Anyone that has taken a single penny to push this through not only needs to be thrown out of office, they are traitors to this country and to their constituents and should be thrown out of the country. |

Happiest Place on Earth
This kind of stuff burns me up. We have MILLIONS of people unemployed currently and now we're importing third world trash to take more jobs from Americans? They're not trained as highly, they're not as skilled, and they're functionally destroying America. This is destruction of America. Lobbyists should be hung upside down and be hung over a lion enclosure at a zoo. I get so upset at this stuff I can't express it without coming off as crazy. The politicians who allow this are scum and the bureaucrats who pass it as part of the swamp that needs draining. Hopefully Tucker gets a hold of this and excoriates everyone involved. No bail out for any company with H1B or TN employees. TN (Trade NAFTA) are also scams. Get rid of the whole program! |

Kushner was quoted saying like "We are going to bring more immigrants and you are going to like it." Trump was better off with Bannon. |

Pay them $500 billion to stay in India & China we don't need any more foreign agents anyway...

While the ideal should be sending them back this will (paradoxically) reduce demand for H1Bs.
One of the main reasons H1Bs work for cheap is that they cannot leave the company that sponsors them without starting the wait for a Green Card over. The companies know this and thus pay less, and therefore want more H1Bs as they are cheaper. If an H1B employee can move to a different company for more pay companies then have to pay them more to retain them, which makes them less attractive to hire. In addition, this means a lower return on the initial investment involved in sponsoring them in the first place, as the employee could leave after a few years, which also reduces the cost benifits of hiring an H1B. Basically an H1B is indentured servitude lite, and this is basically setting them free of their obligations, which fucks with the companies that brought them over. Which means less companies will do it going forward. TLDR this will reduce the number of H1Bs in the long run as less companies will want them. Probably the best solution short of sending them all back which is politically untenable. Plus you get to rub it into the dems faces if they oppose, as it can be sold as a workers rights measure. |
