Quoted: Thank you good sir! I decided to switch to the organic/no till side of growing last year and it seems to be paying off quite well! The hippies may actually be right about this believe it or not View Quote Nothing wrong with that. We’ve bought more local, organic fruits, vegs, and meats this year than we ever have. |

That's why I started growing my own |

I swear they have to discount the organic stuff just to get people to buy it around here haha. Off to play some baseball with the boys this morning |

I kinda want a selfie stick, but not for pictures of me.
I want to reach down and get good perspectives without worrying that I will drop my phone. Attached File |

I'm better with ornamentals, I guess.
Here's my tomatoes: Attached File I don't know what happened. They're an heirloom variety, so I'll save the seeds and try again next year. The ornamental gourd that we forgot about at the front of the house, though... Attached File |

My tomatoes got hit with blight something fierce this season. I was able to save them thank God, but they're still hurting from the fight. Gonna do a insect frass foliar spray tonight and hopefully it'll speed the recovery a bit I have a love hate relationship with gourds. I love seeing the veggies at the end, but oh my God they take over everything in the garden. Its almost impossible to keep em contained |

Some type of swale? Looks ambitious Made fungally dominant worm castings. Goal is to grow out the fungal mycelium that's dormant in the bacterial dominant castings, prior to brewing in a compost tea brewer and applying to the garden soil in an effort to bulk up the rhisosphere's fungal presence. Simply mix castings with powdered malted rye at a ratio of 3 tablespoons per cup of vermicompost and let it sit until the white mycelium "fuzz" glue everything together. After that, break it up, add to the compost tea brewer along with your microbial food source like molasses and then brew for 24-36 hours. Looks delicious, doesn't it? Another day.- make it memorable in good ways.
Yes, that's a drainage swale. Over the years, it's slowly been eroding the back yard, and Briskette is weary of that. Once the blocks are in place, we'll backfill and plant viney creepy stuff to cover the blocks. |

Humble request: we should be able to have more than three multi-quote options, its a bit aggrivating having so many people to say GM to, and limiting it to three is a pain in the dick imho
A big good morning to all that have slipped through the cracks |
