Cool watch. Too beat up to wear? Might be fun to see if anybody can clean it up and replace the bezel.

No, besides the wear on the bezel, the rest is in great shape for what it is. The bracelet is perfect and the face and hands are clean and still glows. It keeps perfect time. It needs to be cleaned up, but I don't know the proper way to give it a good cleaning or what to use. I'm certain it could be polished up and maybe the number repainted, and look great. I wore it for long time, but it is heavy and has a small face so I haven't worn it in a long time. It is a tool I'm told and some people like the "used" look of it. Like I said, the only reason I would get rid of it would be to put it toward a nice watch I would wear more. I'd like an Omega, and I think that would put a nice dent in the cost.
When I wear it, people either don't know anything about it, or make a point to come talk about it. I would like to at least have it properly cleaned up and kept original. I also don't really want to put money I to it unless it would raise the value over the cost of having it done. I have $0 in the watch, so it wouldn't hurt to put a little into it. I simply just hate the fact it sits when someone would probably desire it and I could get something that I would wear.
Thanks for the replies so far!
Also, one other thing. The clasp will pop open sometimes, with some wrist flex. Probably a little tooth on the adjuster is a little off.
