If you are looking for some downloadable topo maps of USFS areas, this link will have what you need. Very easy to find the map you want and download it. The maps are geo-enabled PDFs so you can use them with aps like Avenza. Not sure if they would work with GAIA or not but I’m sure someone can answer that.

Best of all, they are free.

I see they are still glitchy and don't show the trails that are closed like OnX off road. As a hunter the land owner data is worth the $25.00 a year, even though it's not always up to date. But it's usually close. The great thing about them is you can download several and have them commercially printed into a larger top map.

Yeah I don’t see them as current up to date info like any topo map would be. I used the USFS site to help me download the correct maps I needed from Avenza’s map store. Funny thing is the USFS maps are $.99 each on the Avenza store but the USGS maps (and the USFS no doubt gets the data from USGS) are free.
