There's nothing objectively wrong with 304/318 steel from chi-na. Many high-end and well-rated vendors import from chi-na.

My work orders fittings from GW Kent, the one part I found with a country on it was from Taiwan. The tri clamps had nothing.

I have a feeling that there are not too many non chinese based stainless steel companies.  I'd rather not buy anything chinese but that is getting harder to do.

You can try Glacier Tanks in Vancouver Washington. Not sure where they get them from but at least if your buying chineseum SS some of the profit is going to someone other than Bezos. I get almost all of my SS form GT. tri-clamps, spools, ferrules, and PTFE gaskets.
