I have less. I purchased 4989 rounds (4600 of it was .22). I have used 13,330 (8400 of it was .22).

More because my ammo guy sent me my monthly order of 9mm, 45 and 5.56.

When was the Walmart ammo apocalypse? I almost broke a shopping cart with my haul of 10-15 cent per round 556/9/45 they had on clearance. We joked about them supplying the boogaloo then... not so much a joke now.

Stocked up years ago and will shoot though my stockpile until prices drop again even if it takes years.
I admit to being furloughed from work and getting time to organize my loading room.
The 1050 has worked me down a few times. However I have loaded, labeled, and sorted enough practice/match ammo for the next two years. |
Less and less every day but then I have more than I could ever shoot in my lifetime.
I was at a pretty high level during post wally blowout , but from that point I have not bought anything and have still been shooting.
If we're counting reloading then yes. I think I've only bought a couple of boxes of .308 this year.

I don’t really ever have less. I try to shoot less than what I buy, so I always have some to store away. I also get far fewer chances to shoot than many here, though, so it’s not a huge imposition
Less, but I had a *bunch* at the beginning of the year, so that doesn’t mean much.
Maybe not “a lot” by Arfcom standards, but enough that I’d have to move with a two-wheeler and it would take several trips. |
Less, but I haven’t purchased ammo in a couple years, minus some odd ball stuff. I stacked it deep when the getting was good. No need to pay high prices.

I made a fairly large order from SG in February just get out in front of any election panic over the summer, man am I glad I did that.
Sold off about 10K 5.56 and 9MM so far
Expect to sell off another 20-25K all excess Just like we buy'em cheap and stack'em deep we sell'em high and say good by or is that ka-ching? |
I have a little more. I've been reloading.
I did have a scare though. Started setting up to reload more Blackout subs and couldn't find my jug of 1680, at least three pounds left. I turned the house upside down looking for it and could not find it. On the third day of the search it occurred to me to look behind the ammo bunker (a job site tool box) that sits underneath my workbench. Sure enough, it had fallen behind the tool box. Sure was a relief to know I had not lost that much powder. |

I've been selling so less. Getting about 3 to 4 times what I paid for some off this walmart clearance. Sometimes more. 9mm is best return, then 45 acp. 5.56 is about double and costs more to ship so I'll just sell pistol ammo for here on out.

You carry your spreadsheet with you when you go to the range don't you?
I find people like you amazing. |
I have 4 crates of 7n6 and a S&W 15R that I'd like to part with, but I'm lazy and the ammo is HEAVY.

I do but it was more or a product of hunting season is over and stocking up for skeet season a I do every year.
I hunt with odd calibers, 257 Roberts, 6mm Rem, 35 Rem, 35 Whelen, 356 Winchester, 350 Rem mag, 45/70, 444 Marlin and others. I like to shoot a lot so I survey my stock every year in January and order more. While I’m in Florida I order what I need and bring it back to NY behind the iron curtain each year. This year as things heated up I brought home more but as always I wish I bought more. I was sick almost the whole time in Florida so I never shot steel plates or three gun while there so I have a good stock for next season. I’m one of those guys that no matter how much I have I’m always worried I donor have enough. |

Quoted: You carry your spreadsheet with you when you go to the range don't you? I find people like you amazing. View Quote Not sure if you're referring to me, but you'd probably be surprised by the details I have. My FFL buddy who wanted to buy from me probably has a couple hundred thousand rounds of 9mm not to mention everything else. I bought 5K at a time and he was buying 25K+. Unlike yours truly, he has no idea what he has and can't get to most of it due to sheer volume and clutter. He's a Class III dealer/firearm owner and uses a lot of ammo in an typical outing. |

The factory inventory is GTG. I've been reloading 6.8 SPC's, 77 SMK's for the precision 5.56 AR and .357 and .44 magnums for the lever actions and matching pistols.

I was adding to the dump until prices started to rise in March when the run started. I haven't purchased a round since. I shoot weekly (at a minmum) and shot 4,300 rounds at a full-auto shoot in June. So, I am probably about where I was on January 1. I am good for a awhile.

Gotta love the buy it cheap and gouge your fellow gun owners in need. Luckily I stacked deep when 9mm was around $175 + ship/ tax.
I sold 5k rounds to a friend recently for a $G. |
No ammo purchases, just 500 .223 match bullets and 1000 9mm plinking bullets for reloading.
But I saved a lot of money on car insurance. |

I'm certain some of what I have now will be passed on when I do, unless I buy something in a new caliber I'm probably set for life. |
Yes but barely. I’ve just just under what I’ve purchased. This Thursday I’ll go negative for the year.

One box of 100 9mm, and one box of .22 squirrel killers more than the beginning of the year.
