I was accused of being a bad actor when I first joined. Account locked within an hour, had to prove I was on the right side which didn’t take much considering I have more photos of guns than my own kids not to mention my Twitter feed leans heavily conservative.

6 warnings and 1 timeout in 15 years and was told if I got one more I'd be permantly banned
How do some of you guys 12 warning and multiple timeouts but no threat of being banned. Osprey21 is my conscious now and keeps me on the narrow and straight.  Posting drunk or on pain meds after surgery is my ignorance |

As far as I remember only one warning. Asking about a heavy barrel Colt rifle in the EE as to why it cost more than other 6920s. Little did I know a heavy 16in barrel is more valuable to some, now I know.

I think things are read into statements which go beyond the intent of the person who wrote the statement.
"In support of ........" is a particularly tricky one, I think, and folks have been dinged for saying (meaning) things they didn't actually say (mean). Several in here have reported that they were shocked by how a comment they thought was innocent was interpreted by someone with a hammer. After the hammer falls, it's pretty much a "Tough shit, next?" situation. I suppose a courteous IM asking "Is that what you really wanted to say, and would you like to change/remove it?" be too much to expect. I am a wee bit bitter over this issue, since I value my account. |

Never had any problems.
A couple years ago at Christmas I created a thread about step-daughters plan to ruin Christmas and called her a name that I had saw on here in the distant past that is NOT acceptable here now. I tagged it to review the replies. Mr. Aimless removed the offensive sentence and kindly stated the he completely understood my anger and frustration and that the offensive word was not to be used here. |

I had an EE thread locked for posting the Amazon price of something I was selling. I relisted the item without the Amazon price and was gtg. I don’t know if that counts as a warning.
On another note, there has been a bunch of accounts recently with under 1,000 posts that seem to be leftist trolls. Long term sleeper agents, I guess. So, I am thinking I need to post more. |
