Two, he was a person you’d never forget you’d met. He was just as abrasive in real life as he was on the forum.  That said, he was a hell of a guy to have on your side. Shame he’s gone I was hoping to possibly meet with him again.

When I bought mine in '98, Armalite was the only one making them. As time went by, more manufacturers made them. Even with AR-15s, when I started reading this forum there was the Big Three. Colt, Bushmaster, and Armalite. Other manufacturers were looked at as inferior, except for Knight's Armament. I might be mistaken regarding AR-15s, but that's the way I remember it at the top of the page. |
