Just cruising down the Dempster on my KLR.  The one and only time during the 10 days I wasn't getting rained on.

My flo yellow fork protectors came in so I got them on. Looks better now that the yellow all match’s.

I got quite a few comments on it Sunday at a poker run.

Was ruff for him lol.
Got his arm ran over on the sight lap as he crossed the finish line. Came over crying snot coming from his nose but said he wanted on the line.
Went into the first turn dead last, passed up to 21 at the end of lap one.  he went over the bars two turns later. The track work tried to kick his bike from the right side for 45 seconds until another worker came over and kicked it correctly once and it started... Finished 38.
Moto 2, second to last into the first turn. Bobbled trying to pass 20th but kept it up finishing 22nd.
3rd Moto dead last into turn one, passed 20th then wrecked finished 29th. Finished 31st over all
Was running lap times with kids around 15th.  But when you horrible starts and pass half the field every Moto good finishes aren't going to come at Lorettas lol.
We had a blast and I just wanted him to have fun and ride his dirt bike. Which he did, so it was a blast.

Great bikes I had an 07 before they went to the new body style in 08.  Little on the heavy side but capable bikes.  Dont' forget to fix the "doohicky".

Can't wait to have a cruising buddy. Fixed a bad ground on my 71 minitrail today- should run like a top again.

Wife bought the Grom, and I ended up with the DRZ. 4500 miles- most of them on the sumo wheels that read 20% higher than stock.

Ditched the pink decals that the girl I bought it from decked it out in, adjusted the controls, and had my wife cut me out a real decal lol.

Unfortunately it's rain for the next week.

My wife pointed out that all 5 of our vehicles are white and black.

Thank you guys, my wife kicks ass with her Cricut machine lol.

I was debating adding some red to the bike, but I think leaving it clean and uncluttered will look pretty good. I might sneak out of work a couple hours early and go ride before I pick up my kids from daycare.

Finally got my YZ250 split open. 3rd gear failed and the metal from this took 4 other teeth with it. Pretty sure I did it when the bike got stuck in gear and I popped the shifter hard with my foot instinctively to get it moving. Heard a little crunch sound and about 1 hour later the engine was getting noisy from metal damaging the transmission bearings so I stopped riding it. Shift forks look good and so does the barrel. Gonna replace the 5 gears with new and all bearings in the trans.

I was a bit bummed because instead of getting to ride the Sumo tomorrow, I have to take the truck and finish a job after work

Decided to ease my dissapointment by tearing out the carb in anticipation of my new jets coming tomorrow. It should be a little different animal when I finally get to ride to work on Wednesday.

I'm coming to the realization that being an adult means you can finally afford the toys you always wanted, you just never have time to actually enjoy them.

I picked up my son's first bike this weekend.
It will sit in storage until Christmas.
Of course, I will have to putt around the storage
facility each week to keep it charged and wear it
In properly before handing it over to a 15 yo.

During the Winter I am street kitting my WR450 for plating ,
so I guess I am going to need to go back to a
dealer where I saw a nice used YZ250 for 3k while shopping
for the CRF230. Wouldn't want to clip a turn signal off on a tree
with the streeted WR on a tree while riding with the kid, now would I?
