Look if you go into the government and represent the people you will be hated. If an elected official is liked by the government when they leave they didn't go there to fix anything nor did they represent the people. It's sad but nobody goes to Washington without the promise of fixing things. Ironically more things seem broken each year. If the government was working well nobody would be breaking promises of fixing it. Last person ran on fixing things and the person who replaced them ran on fixing things. Reality is government is some broke ass shit.
Badge of honor really. Likely the highest accolade one could aspire for. |

You are correct. I will add, however, that EVERYONE was against Trump. Everyone had their own agenda, which was maintaining the status quo, and be extension, lining their own pockets. THIS is the main reason the politicians, business executives, and media heads HATE(D) him. He upset their racket and awakened millions of people. They can't stand people being fed up with their SHIT, so they had to bring him and his supporters down. |

You guys notice Pence has been flying all around thanking troops, kinda like a goodbye tour and Trump hasn't been seen and is still at the White House? You would think if Trump was really leaving he would be personally meeting with troops and thanking them.

Pence's problem blows up when the truth finally comes out about how the vote counts in the swing states were queered. Trump has fought the steal the entire way but Pence gives the impression that he is, at best, resigned to it. It's like Pence handed over his wallet to the mugger so they could be friends after the crime.

It's telling that the people that were bashing Trump his entire term allegedly out of principle or over mistakes he made are wishing a RINO swamp creature had been president instead of Trump.

Quoted: In my experience, the higher up you go on the O scale the less principled and direct the individuals are. It's no different than it is in the vast majority of corporations. If you want to take any sort of principled stand on anything, you don't get there. In the corporate world, this means that unless you are the owner, you won't get above middle management. Similarly, unless you want to play a major role in the continuing soap opera / politics / wife's breast implant bullshit that the vast majority of senior military officers do, you won't get above O-3. Maybe O-4 if you're lucky. Above that, it should be expected that you are nothing more than a big ball of clay happy to be molded to whatever the current political climate is. View Quote That's what I've seen also. The deal makers at the top of the power rung are more flexible by choice. Otherwise they would not be there. |
