BTC price has been in the process of consolidating (relatively speaking) for almost month now.

If you look at 2017, similar major corrections happened followed by periods of consolidation before the next leg up.  I think the next big BTC rally is getting ready to fire up.

Here's an excerpt from 2017.  I think the current situation is comparable to the FIRST correction of the 2017 bubble highlighted below:

Going from $3,000 to $2,000 probably doesn't seem like anything today but back in 2017 if felt pretty much exactly like what going from $40,000 to $30,000 did this past month.

This is an observation, not a promise.  Don't gamble anything on crypto that you can't afford to lose.

Say what you want, but my crypto portfolio has 10x, in 9 months time. For (my) perspective, that equals 6 months salary for me.

Less than a month ago BTC was just over $40k, and LTC hit $170.

When you say it's "taking off" what do you mean?

Because they're currently sitting at 35k and 144 respectively.

Wake me up when Verge and Vertcoin are back

Thank God I was just barely smart enough to not put much into shitcoins and stick mostly with btc, eth and ltc.

Yeah, I should have bought a couple hundred ETH last week when I was thinking about it.

I was going to try to pick up some XRP, but Coinbase stopped supporting it.

- I just bought $100 more ETH, and converted $1k BTC to ETH. I'll be putting my tax refund and any stimulus shit into BTC when I get 'em. Bought a little more bitcoin since it looks like it's going up.

If the IRS is as fast as last year, I should get my kinda small return inside a week. That's gonna go into ETH or BTC.

Bitcoin appears to have finally broken through a downtrend that got started back at $42k.

It's a universally good sign if you are gambling at the crypto casino.

Hoping for an XTC and/or ALGO run.

Since they both give staking rewards in Coinbase, they're mostly what I convert my mining rewards to.

Thank you.

You can fill book with what I don't understand about all the crypto speculation.

I own BTC and LTC just for shits and grins.  It's a bit like owning a racing horse: fast, exciting, one day you'r in the winners circle and the next day you're broke.

Yes. Download the Exodus Wallet onto your device. I have it on a laptop. Buy the coin of your choice on Coinbase Pro, then send it to Exodus where you can exchange it for Cardano, Doge, etc. No need to buy on a separate exchange.

Cryptocurrencies will be tolerated until the powers that be are done moving their ill gotten gains to safer places where they can be laundered without scrutiny? "Oh, my deposits? I did really well with Bitcoin".

When the window closes, the losses will be epic.

Still not enough for me to cash out of Coinbase and break even(fucking processing fees).

All I wanted to do was buy $200 worth of Dogecoin last week but Coinbase wouldn't let me send my bitcoins out.

Just regular user.  I'm more pissed about them sitting wanting to sit on my money for over a week. I can sell my Bitcoins but I can't cash out still.

Binance. Buy BTC on Coinbase and send the BTC to Binance. Buy ADA and DOGE with the BTC.

You have to use Binance.US unless you have a VPN then you can use regular Binance.
