Quoted: you have fantastic children, meng. you are not at all how i pictured you. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Why don't I count? Because I take physical fitness serious? Remember hes 40# over the question in the OP and I RAN with him. The average person should be able to do it without the sprint, and only 100#. Anyway. How about my 16 year old that weighs 140 pounds and has never done this before? Here, you can even watch me teach him how to do it. Are you saying that you're weaker than a 16 year old boy? That's embarrassing. Can't wait to hear your next excuse why this doesn't count. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVSbax-exZ4 you are not at all how i pictured you. Thanks, they are pretty good kids. Yes, I hear that a lot. People are shocked at my rugged handsomeness |

It would be easy if you were carrying the weight like you were doing farmer walks. Most likely yes otherwise? We always had to do bridal carries up and down flights of stairs to end wrestling practice. I'm a bit lighter than I was back then, but 100 pounds is also a lot less weight.

I have carried a Hyundai Genesis transition on my shoulder from the back parking lot at work into the shop. I'd say that's around 150yds.
I have fireman carried my 280lb brother in law in full kit while I myself was also in full kit 100 yards. I have also ran a sub 7 minute mile with a 30lb vest. But I have not carried 100lbs 200yrds. |

Goodbye, ACL and MCL. Hopefully you’re back in time for spring! |

We used to pair up and carry teammates but it was usually 50 yard races. Carry him one way and get carried back.
The losers of the races usually had to run more so we took it seriously. It was best to pair with someone the same weight because a disparity in weight slowed that pair down. But they weren’t dead weight. |

Well considering every member in GD is 6.5' 260lbs. And chiseled from pure granite. I'd say 100% of GD could do twice that much at twice the distance.

Being a fireman I carry close to that multiple times per shift. Sometimes for multiple hours.
Firefighting gear with pocket tools, radio, flashlight, bail out bag, airpack, is close to 75-80lbs. plus either a gas saw or set of irons is well over 100 |

My personal best was a 250lb Marine 13 years ago when I weighed 185lb... I bitched that he was a fat fuck the whole way though (dude was actually solid muscle). Now I’m sure I could do a 100lb person easily...

Quoted: Of course everyone on GD can carry that much weight, and more! Also, most of GD are Mensa's, or are too smart to actually join, most of GD can fly a plane with a "cheat sheet" and everyone can bench press their own weight numerous times. Additionally most of GD is over 6" tall with proportionate body weight. View Quote Equating those things with carrying 100lbs over a short distance is like saying that just because you can grow kale you can seduce a supermodel. Also I think pretty much everyone here actually is taller than six inches. |

No way. I wish, though. My right knee would crumple just picking up the 100 lb weight. I'm missing a chunk of cartilege in the knee. I can walk on level ground, but I can barely walk up stairs.
A few years ago in my mid-40's I could have done it. |

Easily. Throw it on my shoulder.
Could probably move 200 lbs, but it would be a bit of a struggle. |
