Quoted: This will end up being like the hot dog v hot dog bun ratio debate. Now you have to make sure your collection is divisible by 12. Get a new AR now you got to build/ buy 11 more and get one more case. It could potentially be a problem. View Quote I can handle it Attached File |

Dammit will never use it but it will look really cool open and mounted on the wall.

I do not need this... I do not need this... I do not need this.
Fuck it. This will free-up some space in the safe for $119 shipped. |

I would like to convert one into luggage so the next time I go to Vegas I can use it as a steamer trunk.

If it accepted optics it would be cool to have it open and bolted to the wall of a safe room.
For no real reason I do want one, but the only ARs I have without optics are bare receivers that I haven't built up into actual working firearms yet.
Can the innards be removed so it can be used for something other than guns?
I wonder if smaller optics will squeeze in. I guess I'll find out within the week. I have trash can guns and other odd balls that might fit next to the retro clones if optics are a no-go.

View Quote @HenryKnoxFineBooks Could I have some more details on those racks? I was recently asked to make a lockable rack for ARs and I'm kind of stumped on where to start. |

Quoted: Can the innards be removed so it can be used for something other than guns? View Quote Nah, each half is a big molded single piece. I guess you could cut the inside out but it would probably destroy the structural integrity of it and would likely be a huge pain in the ass. They are cool but fairly impractical for most people just because they are pretty bulky when empty and heavy/bulky when loaded. Having said that everyone should have one filled with cheap Palmetto State ARs just for the hell of it. |

I keep and transport some pretty expensive Cos-Play gear inthe ones that I got from work. Matter of fact, 2 weeks from Thursday, severalare road tripping to just south of Memphis for the weekend. |

I ordered one even though shipping was more than the case. ~$220 shipped to Alaska. Thanks OP

Really tempting, but we’re sure they don’t actually fit with optics and such?
Are these like the bullshit MIL racks where the carry handle has to be moved to fit? |
Didn't read the whole thread but I'd look at my muzzle devices before I ordered. I only see birdcages in that thing.
FO'ed. I can always use it for a coffee table in my gun room/mancave. Plus I have a bunch of uppers and half guns that I can fill it up eventually.
Txs OP. |

Wonder how M1 Carbines would fit in them. Looks like Garands and M14's would be far to long.
