Set a game cam up.
Tossed some leftover frozen chicken necks out, from my crab trotline.
810 pics in about 5 days, 660 of buzzards, all in a first couple hours.

20 or so good, but here's my favorite!

Funny, always the same progression.
Crows, followed by turkey vultures, followed by black headed vultures, as they are most aggressive.

Had 2 mature and 1 immature eagle on it at one point.
This one kept cupping his wings over the pile to shield it.

At one point, a red tailed hawk drove everyone off!

Nice pic.

Interesting to put a game cam out on a pile of scraps.  It let's you know what would probably eat you if you died in the woods.

In southern NH,  I found crows came within a couple hours, then a neighbors cat, then foxes the next night, and finally some coyotes.  And they'd all revisit daily- crows in  daytime, and everything else at night or early morning.

This Eagle was in my backyard New Years Day.

And you’re right, that is a very cool picture!

@ED_P

Have gotten coyote, fox, pics etc here.

Usually use lure though.

EVERYTHING is attracted to beaver castor, even squirrels and deer.

Any fisher or marten pics?

Itrap fisher in Western MD but always wanted to catch a marten in NH or ME.
Have moose hunted both states

Somewhere, I have a pic of 8 eagles in my back yard.
We butchered a couple hogs one morning, dumped guts out back
Washing up at the house, see 2 eagles on it and a 3rd one coming in.
Time I found my camera, 8 were on it.

But they are EVERYWHERE around here.

I got one picture of a Fisher years ago, right at sunrise.  That's the most exotic creature that's come through my yard.
