The Public Comments "criticism" Section of the new ATF firearm reclassification regulation coming before August 2021 is open.

The ATF is now coming after more than 80% Lowers! We saw that coming...

But! New regulation coming August 2021 redefines a upper receiver or even a pistol slide as parts that must be serialized! This is ridiculous! This means these redefined parts must be serialized and therefore transferred through a FFL because they will be classified as the firearm.

There are many other ridiculous regs listed im this proposal to go in effect this August as well, unless we flood the proposed regulation COMMENTS internet inbox!

Maybe somebody can post the link in this thread to the ATF page with the comments section of the proposed firearm reclassification regulations.

Since the ATF is being used as a political enforcement branch which is wholly unconstitutional, we should do something about it. Biden can pretend to wield all manner of powers that circumvent and violate the Second Amendment and Article VI but it just validates the need to abolish the ATF and recall Biden. Article V and VI these clowns and take the fight to them. We fund these bozos: I say end it and restore Article VI! I can see this is not going to end well for the ATF or Biden. Demand a call for Convention of States and enforce Article VI to end this tyranny!

Comment is now open. Less than 500 comments at this point. Every one that I read was against the proposed rule. We need 500,000 comments against it. 89 days left on the comment period.

Is this strictly about numbers or does the content of the comment play a factor in its validity? Will a well articulated opposition be more constructive than an obscenity laden attack on Biden and the ATF?

Surely I’m not the only one wondering…

The comments with solid legal arguments are the ones they will pay attention to. Others will just waste their time...but that can delay implementation because they have to read them all

It is amazing to me that I haven't seen this in GD. I thought there'd be a 100 page thread and a sticky post created over an executive action redefining a firearm. Is everyone just distracted, or what?
