I didn't cave in, but man was I tempted to buy a case of Budweiser. They are really desperate. They were offering 15 dollar rebates on a 24 pack. So basically when it's all said and done, you can get a case for $3.50. What was amazing is that even at that deal, the shelves were still nearly fully stocked.

If you sell your principles for beer, you might as well join the other side and chop your bits off.

I don't care if it was a nickel a case with a $5 rebate, I'm not drinking that swill. I didn't drink it before their idiocy, and I'm sure as hell not drinking it, now.

I find it hard to believe that they are only down 25% in sales if they are giving it away and still not getting takers.

Have you guys ever put tannerite on top of stacked cases of beer? It looks like some shit from the good days of MythBusters when it goes off. My friend had a girl that worked for a distributor and we wrecked expired product. This would be perfect for that.

I'm no beer aficionado, it actually was my beer of choice. Tasted good cold with a steak or bbq. Simple uncomplicated taste that wasn't heavy.
But they can keep it. There are other light beers out there that I'll be glad to pay for. ![]() |

Who in the boomer fuck actually does rebates?

So is Modelo ok or no? It seems complicated. InBev owns the brewery but not the brand here in the USA or something. |

Mail in rebates are garbage. If they really cared, they'd sell it to the grocery stores for $1.50 so the store could make $1.50 and you could buy $3.00 tranny beers. Mail in rebates make you spend the same amount you'd normally spend then send you a BS gift card eleventeen months later that's only good at a store that closed while you were waiting for the gift card to arrive.
Plus, I could care less if they paid me $5 to take a case of AB product. I'll happily pay the money to Grain Belt, as far as I know they aren't woke and they're a family business. |
