I am very new to the cigar World, here’s my introduction.

A buddy of mine when I was in the military with years ago came out to visit me four months ago.  He brings along a traveling humidor that is completely full of Julius Caesar’s, yet still had to buy another box of them while he was here. Everyday he overloaded me with information, I was attentively listening while smoking all of his cigars

he decided to take another trip back a couple months ago, of course he brought a full load of different cigars with him, and while my knowledge is very limited I am sure none of them were on the low end. He asked me if I have a cigar bar in the area, to which I told him there was a bookstore in town that sold cigars... he laughed and looked at Google and found a real cigar bar that I had no clue even existed. I was quite impressed with what I saw and was overloaded when I walked into the humidor, I asked the lady if they had flavored cigars and everybody looked at me like I was a pussy (though that attitude has changed)

needless to say I now have a full humidor with the V notch Cutter, and I’m really enjoying cigars far more than I ever thought I could.
Yesterday was my birthday so I was sitting home when he had called me from California, he said to get off my ass and go down to the cigar bar because there would be people down there I would enjoy and he was sure I was going to have a good time. I told him he was full of shit and the older I get the less I like people, he laughed and told me to go anyways.

When I walked in there, The lady remembered me as the guy that asked for the flavored cigars... but I showed her! I now have a list in my text messages  of cigars that was approved by my buddy, because I have found that even though I really don’t know much... I know that I like the ones my buddy likes
I really wasn’t feeling it at first, I sat down lit up a “my father” I started talking to everybody that was in the circle of leather chairs, talking about reloading shooting, politics and what have you. they were the most inviting people from all kinds of walks of life, even when one left another one took their place and was just as cordial.  I had one of the best days that Ive had in a long time, I will be back often and realize that if all those people were like that... you guys must be the same and I just wanted to introduce myself
