NexGuard works great.  But with 6 dogs, that's $150+- a month

Any other options?  Area effect spray for 10 acres?

Spraying the yard isn't going to cut it; as far as other options for flea/tick preventative you've got simparica and bravecto.  If you're going over the counter i like the seresto collars or frontline but i use nexgard on my dogs.

NexGuard, Simparica and Bravecto are the best choices. My dog is 1/4 lab, 1/4 golden retriever, and 1/2 husky so any type of liquid flea meds are out. Plus I have seen dogs and cats either loose their hair or get sick from the cheap liquid flea medicine.

I also treat my yard twice a year with Seven-dust granules and then periodically spray liquid bug killer. That is on top of using NexGuard.
