My wife, no,  my mom, yes.   I have seen her drink a room full of air force o-6/o-7+ officers under the table when I was young and in she was in her prime.  Almost no effects and she would have no hangover the next day.  Just as pleasant as possible.  Dad said the only couple of people he believed that might be able to keep up with her were some Soviet officers he had dinner with one time and he would not have placed a bet on it.    Now on the other hand you did not put any gin any where close to her.  Any thing else no problem, gin would make her mean as hell and if she got some by mistake everyone needed to hide. (BTW - She was a  nurse captain before me so I am sure my perfect mother had practice before I was born).  She was a great lady.

My wife has three truly and she's drunk and I'm able to drink like an alcoholic.

Nowhere close....After a couple of drinks she’s well and drunk, after three she’s passing out soon. There is a sweet spot for her between she’s frisky and down for anything and whoosh she’s out like a like. There are many factors but that’s somewhere around 2.25 drinks.

At the same point, I don’t even feel anything. Not sure that’s something to be proud about though.

No, but I have a huge innate advantage. Takes more booze to saturate 190 pounds compared to 120 pounds

This, though she can knock a pint back in 4 seconds.

Me and a friend went bar hoping with my wife(years ago). She had fun, we managed to get her to drink 27 fuzzy navels. She drove us home. Generally tho, NO, she does not drink very much.

Depending on the drink she may be able too.  I have a LOT more "practice" but I've been on the wagon trying to drop some weight.

Of course not, she weighs half what I do and she's out of practice.

1/2 a drink and she is fun and frisky
1 whole drink and she just passes out on the couch and I have to carry her dead weight up to bed.

Lolz, not a chance.  After two light beers the wife is probably asleep on the couch.

Since neither my wife nor I are alcoholics, we don't drink to the point of getting drunk, much less blacking out.

Not even close . She's usually done after 2 glasses of wine . Not cause she passes out but she's just not a drinker .

My wife is a VERY infrequent drinker.

lol, no.

One family climbing trip up at Independence Pass, she almost fell into the campfire after two glasses of wine.  Elevation, fatigue, and dehydration contributed. But she's a lightweight, and was hammered.  Had a massive hangover also.

Not me, but probably 80% of you. We usually are the 2 standing at social gatherings, but I have to help her navigate on occasion.
