Laptop works okay after the update. Can't post my own arfcom hosted pics from iphone

running 12.1.2 and using Chrome

I get to the pop up to choose the pic, but when I tap it, it flashes and does nothing

Further review uncovers that it won't work from iPad either

when I tap the picture to select it, instead of posting it, I get the keyboard popup

the system thinks I'm trying to type

Does the same thing with the images and emote button to the right of submit. I get the pop up that shows the pictures, but tapping them brings up the keyboard

OK so all the popup windows to enter items into the message box flash and close when you click an item in them.

Do you have anything that could be blocking javascript from running? It's a very small JS call that inserts the images/icons/formatting into the message window. So if the page isn't loading the code properly, or blocked from running it, then what you are describing happens.

Are you using the WYSIWYG version or the BBCODE? Try the other mode for the editor and see if that helps.

Nothing blocking JS that I know of. This happened a few years ago too after an update.

I will try switching editor modes

i can load my media library, but when i click on any image nothing drops onto the post window

i can upload new images

Still no work for me on phone. I updated IOS and restarted. I get the pop up that list my pictures, but cannot successfully insert them

Could just be the page or javascript is cached for you. Try to reload the page a couple times. That did it for me on my phone.

When I try to post a pic the pic's link comes up twice when I click on it in my album. Browser is Firefox.

Both of you mobile and are these images from the shared album or your images? Also are you using the bbcode or wysiwyg editor?

I'm using desktop version on my laptop and Classic editor. The pics are in my media folders not shared images.

funny, now, on my laptop using chrome and wys editor, when I click to host one of my picture it loads two of them. I have to delete one of them

Pushed an update that seems to fix it.

You need to SHIFT/CTRL+RELOAD the page to get the latest files. Otherwise it will continue to do this with the old file cached.

Again, empty your cache if needed!
