If you leave your GPS on your phone and your ex had previously signed into her Gmail account on it without logging off, then yes, you can be tracked through Google maps.

Yes.
I'm assuming you're not referring to national assets but rather in a civilian context? There are companies that can provide that service. Normally it's done via SDK kernels associated with apps, originally for advertising purposes. When I was still involved in that stuff I had few companies come in and demo their capabilities. Pretty interesting stuff with good fidelity and pattern of life data. |

Do you not read the agreement when installing the app?
Basically by installing you grant them full access to your phone and its functions. Also agree they can use your contacts, photos and videos on your phone however they please. |
