What do you like? Is there any thing good under a hundred? I have a fixed front site and want to do a lower 1/3 co witness.

Under $100...? No clue. Even Holosun is more than that and I would say that’s the minimum quality I would, and do, use.

$100 is airsoft quality. At least save up a few hundred for a mid priced chinese reflex.

I like my 510.

Well what's your idea of a budget priced reflex sight?

The Holosun 403 series might be good. 2-3 hundred not that bad. Is there any any other company in this price range?

$200 is about as low as you can go.  Anything cheaper than that is gonna be a waste of money

Vortex crossfire is about 150.
Sparc and Fastfire are just shy of 200.

I've gotten Romeo 5s and Sig MSR dots for $99 recently. MROs are in the mid 400s with a mount. Fuck paying several hundred for a Chinese dot. It's either $100-$150 or I'm buying a duty grade optic.

Swampfox just made an offer I couldn’t refuse on a Kingslayer red dot.
Their LE/MIL program is very good.
I’m going to put it on a PDW and try it.

I have Aimpoints on primary guns but thought I’d try it.

$75  AT3 Tactical RD-50 Red Dot Sight.  Don't set your expectations too high, but it seems to do alright in torture tests, and lasts a few 10k hours.  I have no complaints about the one I have.  It's the only one under $100 that I know of that isn't pure dog-poo.

Next up is a Sig Sauer Romeo 5 for about $130.  Occasionally, they're available closer to $100.  They're better than the MSR model.

For any great red-dot, or one on a critical self-defense rifle, I'd recommend something in the $200+ range.

I don't know if I'd go under a hundred for an reflex sight. For a red dot however, I think you can get a primary arms for around that.

I'd never go that cheap. Lowest I'd go is Holosun

ETA: do you want a reflex or a typical red dot like Aimpoint?

If you want a red dot, get This

I had a Bushnell Holosight on a rattle battle M4gery before the 1st Obama election. I beat the crap out of the sight and rifle for about a year before the election. When things went haywire, I sold the set up at FTF sale for around $1800.
I had around $125 in the Bushnell. Got it here on the EE. It was a surprisingly well built optic.

This.   Mebbe 170-180 for models with fewer features, on sale, or on closeout.

The T2/T1 type clones from Holosun seem to hold up well, as have the 407/507/508 series.   I have examples of all of them and haven't managed to break any yet.

If you do not have a good light, rechargeable batteries for it, battery charger, and sling, I would sort that out all day every day before even worrying about a dot.

No I don't have a light yet. It and the sight are the last two things I need for this rifle. Well, could always use more mags and ammo, but that should go without saying. I got a Vickers sling on the way.
