The level sensor on my 07 Chevy 1500 5.3 broke.

When I look at the RPO code, it lists the JL4 code

There appears to be 2 sensors to choose from,

One that lists that it is for JL4 that is white in color
Then there is one that is for not JL4 that is black

The weird thing is that my OEM one is black, not white.

All of the JL4 ones I can find (from all manufacturers, not just AC Delco) appear to be white, while the non-JL4 ones are black.

I wonder if they have just changed the color of the JL4 ones to white over the years to make them easier to tell apart….or if the one originally in my truck was incorrect?

The one from my truck doesn’t have any parts numbers, but from what I can tell 22672096 “should” be the correct part..

The annoying thing is the non JL4 one is <20, while the other is 50+

From my truck:

The one it says should be correct for JL4 coded

The black one on Amazon is $10.  I'd roll the dice on that one first...
