I understand bootstrapping is a statistical method that's used to take bits from the node and resample the data numerous times to rebuild the tree.

Low bootstrap values equal low confidence levels.

First Question. Does low bootstrap value indicate that the tree just occurred by chance rather than by evolution?

Second Question. Does low bootstrap value have the possibility to indicate anything unnatural i.e. the possibility that the tree is artificial?

A low bootstrap value most likely indicates that that particular branch of the tree is incorrect, however if it’s still the most parsimonious tree then it is likely artificially created
