Picked up 500 @ $.30/ea. Its a very interesting Crypto. I believe it has a strong future.

Nice. Yes I can see it being one of those coins that people wish they had bought at your price in a few years.

@wyomingnick

It’s interesting to me in that it acts as the Google search engine of the blockchains, and other Dapp developers are actually using it. That, and it’s held it’s value since I bought in. Not trying to sell you on it, I just like it and the price is right.

By the way, the CoinMarketCap app has custom price alerts as well.

It’s my go to app for keeping track of every coin I own, it also gives you an estimated total profit/loss % of your entire portfolio. Highly recommended.

I like the way SHE says dollar

But yeah, as an artist I find NTFs a very cool idea with the potential to be huge in the future, and I might get into that myself at one point (selling cryptoart).

Just don’t think it’s wise buying any right now as I think we are in a huge bubble that’s about to pop.

Update: Blackrock, the worlds largest asset manager that manages $7 + TRILLION says they are “dabbling” in bitcoin. I don’t know how big a dabble is but a dabble of 7 trillion has got to be a lot.

Update: Elon Musk just tweeted that Tesla will buy $1.5B of bitcoin and begin accepting bitcoin as payment for Tesla cars. Bitcoin soars.

Update: BTC is up 6k in the last week of 2020 first days of 2021.

Update: Bitcoin reaches new ATH over 24k Dec 19 2020. Up 5k in the last week and 8k in the last month.

From 11,400 to 17,900 in the last month. ATH few years ago was about 20k.

I wonder whatever happened to the board member here who cashed out 21,000 bitcoins when it hit a thousand bucks. It’d be worth nearly 400 million now. Yoiks!

Damn, nice.

I agree it could be good. I got in at ~$10 so I'm pretty happy.

I don't think it will get as big as ethereum, but as far as I can tell it is the leading blockchain oracle, which is needed to increase the broader usability of blockchain tech in more traditional spaces (at least, that's my understanding of it).

Staking rewards are kinda nice.

I'm generating about 30 ada in a little less than a month.

Just added another 2.3k that I had on an exchange to my deadalus wallet.

Looking forward to see what my new rewards will be.

Understanding the greater fool theory but not understanding what would give such an asset value in and of itself or even how one crypto may differ from another.  Sound investment, Gene.

Should be. Wouldn't surprise me to see $5 in Q2.

But I am a big believer of cardano and got in big in 2017 and last year again when it went down to 0.04.

"Cheap" would have been less than a year ago when it was .02, not now when it is 1.10. Then again 1.10 could be cheap looking back from the future if this crypto bubble keeps inflating unabated. I've eaten crow calling tops before in my lifetime.

In the end, it’s easier to set up multiple accounts ahead of time for situations like this where you can buy certain things on certain exchanges. It does suck come tax time.

I turned $1k in LINK into $35k and not a day goes by that I don't kick myself in the ass for not buying $10 or 20k worth back then.  I didn't really fully understand it back then but I had one of my feelings about it.
I have the same feeling about AMP right now.  As it is used in POS transactions to collarterize the debt.  But I have also been known to be wrong before. So take that for what it is worth.

We’ll see what happens. I learned years ago that you’ll lose money trading based on what people in a chat room say. I treat this thread the same. I like to see what other people are saying but form my own opinions.

As of now I wouldnt be surprised if it went back into the $20’s.

Ok for those of us relatively new to this, where’s the best place to get into ADA or some of the other currencies?

But I agree that it's awesome, and plan to buy some back on the next dip.

It’s hard to know what to believe. There’s talk on the HODL app of a LINK crash.

We’ll see what happens. I learned years ago that you’ll lose money trading based on what people in a chat room say. I treat this thread the same. I like to see what other people are saying but form my own opinions.

As of now I wouldnt be surprised if it went back into the $20’s.

It’s the same story every run up (with different new coins), as soon as the hype looses steam, it will crash.

It goes up, it goes down.  That's the same with any coin.  If the underlying tech is sound it sticks around.  After a while you just learn to HODL and accumulate in projects you believe in.  Not necessarily what someone said in a forum or chat.
