Working in Durango CO, and at the hardware store this monstrosity caught my eye.

It's huge and unwieldy, but includes a basic stand.

I don't need it as I have two normal sized ceramic grills, but in the event I need to grill for 20 it would be useful.

I think I have room in the truck bed for it's 8 hour trip home and have enough walking money to purchase it.

I'm torn.

Some of the grills have been going on sale lately. Costco was/is selling a KJ classic for $399 in warehouse. I doubt that price is for the grill, but if so, I’d buy just to resell. Way to big for my needs, but if you aren’t greedy, you could sell that for $8-900 easily and make a pretty penny.

Its not, I got my XL well used for $600 6–10 yrs ago.

That is a price that if it was real, you would have never seen it, it would have been snapped up instantly.

If that were the true price, I would jump on it. But I agree, I think it is just the nest.

And the nest itself is not worth that much money. I built a table for my XL for probably $100 in lumber and it is 100x more useful, and sturdier.

Buy three, keep one and sell the others in my zip code. They are way over $1k here. I bought mine from a guy who wanted a bigger one, I paid $400 and it was a steal.

I feel idiotic for entertaining the thought that the grill was that price.

That was the price for the nest with it's integrated handler.
