I lost all respect for the court after their non-action on guns and then the election. The Constitution doesn't mean anything anymore, so this means nothing to me.

Executive. Legislative. Judicial. "That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles, and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness… it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security." The founders set up numerous checks/balances, but also relied on people in gov’t acting at least partially in good faith and under the assumption that they want the country to exist.
If he expands the Supreme Court, all bets are off in terms of red states willingness to enforce and abide by federal law. Highway money is a big lever, but blowing up a branch of gov’t may be the straw that breaks the camels back. |

It was suspected, but this is despicable.
The court has had 9 justices for 150 years, regardless of the political party controlling Congress, with both parties respecting that number, even though FDR tried to cook it. Doing this is a dangerous precedent. In 20 years, we could have 50 justices on it, when a future uber socialist party decides it wants to appoint a majority of uber socialist justices to override the existing super socialist majority. It will essentially destroy the check and balance between the legislative and judicial branches by allowing the majority in the legislative to ensure the judicial is aligned with their politics. What an absolute despicable clown show these people are. |

Sounds like it isn't just SCOTUS he is looking to pack.
Trump flipped several circuit courts too. The left got too cocky and left a bunch of open seats when Barry left office, figuring Hillary would fill them. Oops. They are correcting that mistake and ensuring it won't happen ever again. Interesting that they are still pushing forward with this, given that the court seems to be 7-2 in favor of Xiden (using them punting on the TX election case as a benchmark). All but two of the conservative justices seem to be Roberts clones. Guess they plan on doing stuff that even Roberts and those like him would be all, "Wait! Holup" |

Ok so the next time (yeah right) the reps get control of congress they can put 1 million supreme court justices up there? Hell, put every American up there.

We wont notice any difference if the SCOTUS had additional members from the Xiden admin. 2A cases will still get ignored and judgements will continue to favor the defendants in libtard cases.

In my observation, and what the ultimate warning should be is that while conservative justices generally (looking at you FCJJR) opine or rule based on their understanding of the constitutional intent (in cases where Constitutionality is not black and white), whereas "Liberal" justices opine and rule based solely on what their party desires. Stacking the USSC would surely result in rulings that further court restructuring would be verboden. The mere thought that the left will pack the court with collectivist, lock-stepping, party-before-all rubber stamping Marxists should send shivers down everyones spine. |

Everything hinges upon the filibuster. If Manchin and the cunt from AZ fold, then the Democrats won't be able to control themselves. And I fully expect those two to fold, as the pressure from their party will be unimaginable.
If the filibuster goes, the republic is finally dead. It's time to start getting serious about secession if they actually go there. |
