Stopped by the local Dollar General this morning to get a small bag of cat food to tide us over….and found the TP / paper towels aisle was completely empty.
Got the cat food and was headed to the register and also noticed the medication aisle was at least 80% empty. Very few random things left. Later went to Sam’s….also out of TP and a limit of one package of paper towels. Is this Groundhog Day ? Is it March 2020 again ? Get back to work mother fuckers !!! I need some Charmin !!!! . |

My closest Sams was barren of meat, water and toilet paper.
Also, Oscar Meyer bacon went from $5 to $11. Holy Crap! |
|
Walmart and lowes are both cleared out of spray paint
I can't understand that one |

Welcome to New improved communist Amerika, comrade. Any dissent will get you sent to gulag.

Every week it’s something different. Last week you couldn’t find Gatorade outside of a gas station and for some reason snack packs are MIA FML

Costco announced restricted sales of paper and sparked a panic. I totally expected this when I read the story.

It's sporadic resupply rather than people bum rushing the store and buying it all out.

My local Walmart was low or out of bags of rice and beans. Only stuff the had was boxes. Uncle Ben's, Rice-a-Roni and such.
|
|
Stores have been like that for weeks around here. When I ask, the employee always says they don't have people to stock what they have. Can't get anyone to work, so shelves run bare. YMMV

I tried to buy a knife online, nearly everything is sold out / not available. It is like every man woman and child took up bush crafting last week.

Bacon Shortage I don’t understand why the pork producers just cut out California. Don’t conform to the law and eliminate California all together. Let the higher prices and shortage in state ramp up. That will make the consumers rethink their vote and pressure the government to change something. |

Noticed this at Walmart yesterday. Lots of grocery items out of stock. Plenty of TP though.
|

SW Mississippi we're seeing shortages of hot dogs, ground meat, and had to search for some spray paint.
Last week was no bananas or sliced bread. Deck paint is all gone as well. It's been real fun looking for items I need to punch out a property i am selling. Cedar paneling has been hit or miss, and no plastic electrical boxes either. |

gd: capitalism is the best!
also gd: what?!?!? corporations are charging a 9000% markup because they can since they bought the government are are now (legal) monopolies!?!?!?! outrageous!!!! in 2041 brawndo deemed the FDA a threat to it's profit margins. brawndo avoided this problem by purchasing the FDA. |

Costco announced earlier this week that they were putting purchase limits on paper products, water, cleaners and a few other things.
Target had plenty of paper products on the shelves yesterday. Didn't look at the other stuff. |

Well, even though we can't get basic necessities here in the United States of America, at least there is no more mean tweets.

I am just not seeing many bare shelves around here in central Florida.
The only thing I have seen that is out was at Lowe's, all of the blue existing work electrical boxes are out. I go to Home Depot and they have plenty of them. It just seems like it depends where and when you go, some things might be out one day and in the next. Went to Costco last week, plenty of TP. |
|
This whole time I’ve had the vid my TP intake never went yup. I still don’t get the YP thing.
|

the local sams has a limit on water 3 cases only plus only 1 for tp and paper towels

Quoted: Where does Rambo go to get his free meal on veterans day? View Quote Guy I work with takes off on Veterans Day and starts as soon as businesses open. Hits every single place in town. Has leftovers for a week. I applaud his service, but he’s also the guy that coaches others on how to defraud the VA with erroneous claims. A lot he does rubs me the wrong way. Rant off. |

I was going to make breakfast burritos yesterday. I stopped at the grocery store on my way home and saw the price of sausage. Holy shit. Pork Chorizo on the other hand was cheap as can be. 2 for $3. I guessed that maybe the target demographic is seen as not paying more than that. I opted for chorizo and made a damn fine breakfast.
I have been noticing the shelves bare on a number of items. |
|
For me - I do see some bare shelves - but that is and the end of the month and often near a military base.
I have seen Sam's club get hit hard during these periods; but then that club is not that far off army base. |

Went to Sam's a few days ago, the one per customers signs were up again, TP and Paper towels low inventory and one per person. Meat was there but thin inventory, coffee was low too.

I’m driving back home to Arkansas from the Smokies, and noticed today that every gas station we’ve stopped at has had half-empty coolers.
How fucking bad are things that there’s an apparent shortage of coke? I would say it’s just sugar and water, but these days it’s just corn and water. |
|
|
Both grocery stores in my small town are bare of a lot of things.... seen it again this morning.
|
|
All the coke zero and many of the frozen breakfast items were gone from my local publix last week.

I was pretty pissed yesterday at Sam's when I had to buy Quilted Northern instead of Cottonelle.
