The very latest production Norinco M14s are now made of cast metal. The bolts are now made from MIM.

The Chinese M14 is now a horrible piece. Almost as bad as Remington.

That is sad. My first semi automatic rifle purchased was a polytech m14s that I got right before the AWB went into effect. I was a poor college student, and it hurt to purchase , but I knew it might be my last chance.

Norinco AKs are tight though, and the Norinco 1911 I shot seemed good.

Those guys are the ADVChina channel on YouTube

Chinese make cheap junk because they believe foreigners are dumb and will never notice the hit on quality.

Foreign plant managers have to keep a tight eye on Chinese factories because their native Chinese foremans will eventually come up with some scheme to scam the customer on the materials they have specified for production.

As far as I'm concerned the Chinese are the most dishonest and untrustworthy people on the face of the planet.

Indeed it has according to some guys in Europe. The new Chinese AKs they can get are junk. This is also why we, America, bought AKs from Bulgaria and others to arm folks in the ME.

Norinco made very high quality weapons. Their AK's, SKS, and Type 53's were top tier weapons. Heck I have a H&R pardner pump 12 gauge I got for clearance from Wal-Mart for $89. It is a freaking great shotgun. Way exceeded my expectations.
