I see this a lot and although I do understand where it comes from it's a confirmation bias that totally ignores how many white liberals there are. I went to NC this past week to visit friends. Lily white. Nothing but white liberals as far as the eye could see. Total culture shock to me which is amazing considering where I live. And it totally ruined my retirement plans. It's the white liberals that ruin everything. They outnumber their victimhood pets by a long shot. View Quote |

View Quote in a mid term in Georgia a white republican vs a white liberal isn't going to be a race at all. Why? because the minority voters aren't going to waste their time coming out for it. Thus the republican kicks the crap out of a liberal. Presidential election year I totally agree but we had record minority voters this year simply because it was a minority running. Also had a lot of white subarea house wives who voted for abrams based on feels. "kemp pointed a gun at that kid!" types. I'd still be willing to bet it would have been an easy 5-8 point win with much lower turn out from Cobb, Gwinnett, Fulton, Clayton, Clarke etc. if it was a white dude. and on top of all of that the DNC was spending record money in Georgia/Florida/Texas/Arizona and the republicans didn't do as good of a job as they should have with that. |

This phase is over but believe me when I tell you that this shit ain't over. Not even close. This election and its associated accusations from the left of fraud, racism, and voter suppression will come back to haunt Georgia for years.

People are eating that civil rights shit up though. You can bet that they'll be using this one to manipulate future elections for a long time. When will the press demand to know if she'll accept the results of the election like they did with PDJT?
Yeah I know, when hell freezes over. |

Whew! That was close!
Im sure they are figuring out how to swing it over next election, legal and illegal. At least it'll give me a couple more years to convince the wife we need to move back home to TN in retirement. |

She's not going anywhere - 2020 will see her challenge another white male Republican somewhere, probably for Senator.
She will win one of these, too many free guaranteed votes will go her way, plus backlash on Trump, etc. I'm glad she lost this one, wish she'd fade into obscurity... |

It takes some serious arrogance to go on stage and declare "democracy failed" because the other candidate got more votes and you ran out of lawsuits to try and change the outcome.

She's playing to the right audience with that. I haven't seen a single social media post from a Democrat/leftist yet that even mentioned her platform. It's all focused on her race, gender, "qualifications", and how our redneck state stole the election from her. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I don't know why people keep saying this. Go out and win an election where the other person is out spending you by a ton. Oh and the other person is getting all of the minority vote and a good chunk of the woman vote not based at all on politics. On top of that it was in a mid term where you party is going to do bad due to history. all while the MSN was "First black governor" "First woman governor" Old white guy would have gotten his ass kicked by Kemp. Dems played the race/sex card hoping for a blue wave that didn't really happen. (or if it did the republicans had a pretty large red wave to cancel it out) View Quote It’s ok, post a stupid port a shitter meme and everything will be OK. |
