People never seem to learn. Shane Gillis is a prime example but looking back he’s better off not getting the SNL job. |

Quoted: What kind of idiot who works in media goes on a podcast anytime in the last decade and makes jokes about fat women and Jews? Zero fucks given. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: What kind of idiot who works in media goes on a podcast anytime in the last decade and makes jokes about fat women and Jews? Zero fucks given. It's always so odd when people make threads like this and completely gloss over what was actually said. "Allegedly he said something mean on a social media platform" That could be a million different things and context matters. Honestly I think this is Jeopardy's attempt to remove him. When people are hired in important positions, they have teams vetting every inch of his life. There is no way any of this slipped past them. I think Jeopardy is trying to find justification to remove him because they're fully aware of messing up on the decision to hire him. There was this big drama about who was going to host the show and many famous actors threw their hats in the ring (and most took it vary serious). But instead Jeopardy hires a no-name and even worse, he's an internal hire from within the company. He's not well liked and has a lot of skeletons in his closet (multiple lawsuits against him from female employees on a previous game show) and I think it's Jeopardy doing damage control. Richards’s selection has been met with criticism by Jeopardy! fans and former contestants alike, many of whom have questioned the validity of a prolonged and high-profile audition process that ended with the ascension of someone once tasked with leading it. (Last week, The New York Times reported that Richards “moved aside after he emerged as a candidate.”) And while some disappointment was probably inevitable at the end of a guest host rotation that featured names ranging from LeVar Burton and Aaron Rodgers to Robin Roberts and Savannah Guthrie, the decision to promote Richards—an internal candidate who was relatively unknown to the general public—has sparked more backlash than the show might have anticipated. Concerns about Richards extend to the Jeopardy! staff, with a source close to the show telling The Ringer that employees were blindsided by Sony’s announcement and multiple sources describing how staff morale has deteriorated under Richards’s watch as EP. Interviews with sources from Sony, Jeopardy!, and previous shows Richards has worked on, including The Price Is Right and Let’s Make a Deal, paint a picture of a showrunner who could be exclusionary and dismissive of longtime show employees—as well as someone who wasn’t shy about wanting to move in front of the camera. Says a former Deal employee who was at the show during Richards’s tenure: “When I worked there, it just seemed to be something everyone knew.” |

It was probably about the meltdown he had while doing standup years ago. Called someone in the crowd the Nword. I always thought his career would have been over after that.

Apparently according to the article it was a bunch of shit he said on some podcast he had in 2013-2014.
I agree that it’s much more likely they have an out to ditch him because he has all the charm and presence of a lizard and a Ken doll rolled into one,and it was a mistake to name him. Levar Burton sucked as host so I don’t get the yammering about him besides “black twitter” and sjw that don’t watch anyways. Aaron Rogers was good, buzzy and cat piss lady Maim were good, and I honestly though Joe Buck was the best they had on of all the guest hosts. All the news people and daytime tv hosts were terrible, to varying degrees. |

I've been boycotting it for years for reasons unknown.
How about don't tweet mean tweets and you keep your job? |
