Biden will likely keep the atf Director, or possibly find someone even MORE anti-2A to direct the agency.

Top priorities? It’s no secret:

November 10th, 2020, during an ATF conference call, Acting Director Regina Lombardo told those in attendance that the Biden transition team has reached out to the ATF to get the agency’s top priorities.

AmmoLand News' anonymous source said Lombardo told those on the call that her priorities would be pistol braces and 80% lower receivers.

Arfcom routinely discusses “what if” scenarios about our 2nd Amendment rights.  These 2 links demonstrate the “what if’s” are coming closer to reality now.

Scope app thing is a year old and related to an ITAR investigation.

Just going to delete the part that isn't needed in a tech forum. --Rat_Patrol

Are there mass downloads of current files?  Rather than downloading individually.

Question about AR15 receivers.  I thought I read here, awhile back, about a court case in CA being dropped by the ATF/government due to questions coming up about the AR15 lower receiver not meeting the accepted definition of a "receiver."

If so, how can an 80% "receiver" be a "receiver?"

Yup. I'm not sure how they plan to ban 80% or 79% lowers, guessing they plan on banning any homemade firearms altogether.

Probably the same way they banned machine guns: All firearms must have a BATFE serial number. BATFE refuses to issue any numbers.

This is my intention. I hope many others do the exact same.

Print one out of tpu to confuse the fuck out of them.

I am very curious to know if a 3d printed lower is considered an 80% before you strip out all the supports and/or if  the hellfire is 80% before you assemble all the pieces together

I will not be writing a letter to FBATFE and asking for a friend

To be safe, I would say "none of the above."

You remember the EP80 lowers a few years ago? Those required every bit as much work to complete as any other 80% lower, but ATF didn't like the dimples for drilling or the color-molded FCG pocket. I'm pretty sure putting in a few fasteners or stripping away the supports isn't going to be nearly enough work for them to consider it a non-firearm paperweight, in much the same way that a bent-up AK flat--even without trunnions and other riveting that requires special tools--is still too complete for their taste.

Why does an agency have priorities?

Their name is Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms.

Collect taxes and prevent fraud. That’s their basic job.

Well, today’s raid on Polymer 80 confirms the rumor:

ATF is targeting 80% firearms.

For now, the target is:

P80’s buy/build/shoot complete kits.

And Bidet/Harris isn’t even the POTUS yet.

Anyone want to wager they will not expand their war on 80% if they get into the WH? (Hint: they will widen their attempt to infringe on your rights).

I already bought a bunch of 80% AR lowers just in case the new administration changed their mind about what constituted a firearm receiver.  Looks like I should have gotten a stack of P80's as well.

Can we talk about mags?
proper magazine files are insane to find. I have tried several off every site you can think of but all of them have some small quirk or two that makes them not great/workable. the scale is wrong or the floorplate doesnt fit etc.
Im not talented enough to get the top of the mag sorted out. I suppose if I just worked on it in sections then put it together I might be able to make it work.
