This Youtube popped up in my feed.   Seems to be from an airshow back in 1991 in England.  Most of the video is the typical airshow stuff but if you fast forward to about the 7 min mark you'll get to see the B-1 doing something I don't think I've ever seen it do.   A 360 roll on climbout following a high speed pass.   Ending up inverted still.    Guess that would make it more like a 540 degree roll.

What's that music at the 2:30 mark when the bone is rolling into position? Is that from Alien/Aliens? I know that soundtrack but cannot place it.

Good ear.  Resolution and Hyperspace by James Horner and yes it's from Aliens.

I put the Shazam widget on the home screen of my phone...use it all the time!

I love their high speed fly by at Mach 0.99 or whatever.  Nothing like seeing something that big going that fast.

The noise of them taking off is also awesomeness.  4 yuge afterburning motors.  Deafening roar and car alarms going off.

Couple videos I took a few years ago.

I didn't get any video of it.  But they did a full afterburner spiral into the clouds at about 10 at night while flying out to avoid the incoming weather.  It was loud!  And Effing awesome!

I retired from the Air Force while stationed at Robins AFB.  At that time the Guard unit there flew the Bone.   The best time to watch it fly was a night.  When they would take off on night sorties, many times a 2 ship,  they would continue on runway heading for a long time.  Not sure what their procedures are but they would keep the burners lit for several minutes after takeoff.  You could watch those flames forever as it climbed higher and further away.

The all time best to watch at night was the Blackbird(SR-71).   Especially on a cloudless night sky.

It was awesome to watch.  The storm that hit right after they left was pretty good, too.

That camera guy was in perfect position for the takeoff roll.

In the late 1990's I saw it at the Thunder over Niagara show in Niagara Fall, NY. At the end of the local GOP Congressman's intro speech remarks he said: "Welcome to Thunder over Niagara" and a B2 blew buy in excess of .95 from the ENE, right down Runway 27, and pulled up and climbed out of sight in full burner doing three slow rolls as he did. I was flying in the show that year and had dinner the night before with the Blue Angles and other performers, including the crew from the B1, they made no mention of their planned high speed pass the night before.

if you think that's holy crap you should see batman's jet on burners around 1k AGL kicking flares like it's cool

best part, it didn't start any fires and we didn't have to stop training

the air force TACP guys got a high-five
you could tell which truck they were in. soft-skin humvee, no doors, and a pair of shark fin antennas

I'm not sure how long he stayed in burner after he went into the clouds,  but I could hear him for quite a while after he did.

Depending on their fuel load at take off! In full afterburner, they were burning close to 5,000 lbs per minute. Thats a bad ass plane for sure. A couple years ago, we saw one fly over at probably 500' AGL while we were playing in the desert south of China lake, about 5 minutes later, about 15 seconds of deep rumbling and muffled booms. Figured they dropped a load at the China Lake weapons area.

Tankers?  We don't need no stinking tankers!

Fuel Capacity: 265,274 pounds

Airflow limits on the DSI engine inlets and ducts will come into play way before they worry about how much gas they've burned.

That aircraft has insane internal fuel capacity.

Between the B-52H, B-2A, and B-1B, the B-1B carries the largest weapons payload as well.
