I am trying to change my avatar to another .gif
File size is 24kb
Image is 250x125

I upload the file but it doesn't change my avatar.  What am I missing?

In the past a change only showed on new posts going forward.
I changed mine last week and thought I did not work too.
It took a couple days to change in all of my 11,000 + posts from day one.

Shows old avatar when I look at my profile, and these two posts are after I uploaded it.  Maybe I'll wait a big longer if it's not immediate?

ETA nevermind, SHIFT+F5 it's working now

It was your browser using the cached avatar

Always shift F5 or ctrl F5 after making the change.
